It’s been a hot minute since I last posted, but there’s a good reason for that.

I have finished editing book two, and now we are on our second round of proofreading before we go forward.

The book cover is coming along, and Ciarra has added some really nice details to it, so it should look beautiful when it is finalized.

We were debating on breaking up book 2 in half, but since it is only a couple of pages longer than book 1, we agreed that keeping it whole would be the way to go. However, I will be focusing on making the following books shorter in length, starting with book 3.

The first two books immerse the reader in Raeanna’s world, allowing the reader to invest in the characters and her backstory. Starting with book 3, we will now adventure along with her (and her consorts) into the unknown and delve further into who they become. I have a lot of ideas and plans for the following books, which I have already started working on.

I have also started rehearsing and recording samples on the audiobook(s), Reading is a lot easier than I thought; it’s just time-consuming. I’ve been speaking to the public for over 6 years now, so to read expressively into a microphone isn’t that much of a stretch. When I go to release the audiobook, I may or may not have a man reading the male parts with me. You will have to stay tuned to my posts to find out! He he.

I am also starting a side project with my cover artist, which I will be posting more about in the future. I am looking forward to this, as it is opening up a whole new world of possibilities. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Other than the work, work, work, I have been trying to stay cool, cool, cool, in this ridiculous HEAT! While the temps are not that extreme for where I live, the dew point is making it SUCK. We’re talking about 70-80% humidity daily. It legit feels like a damn sauna when you step outside! While it has always been humid in summer, it has never been like this. The Earth has definitely changed. What’s even more strange is that the usual signs of autumn approaching are showing up already! Time has sped up for sure. I feel as humans we are being “rushed” when all I want to do is chill…

These guys have the right idea. Slow and steady wins the race, baby! I am not in a hurry. I wish to enjoy life and not rush through it.
