When someone embarks on the journey to begin a new career or business venture, they have to start somewhere, and for 99.9% of people, that is NOT at the top. I think there is a huge misconception that success is instantaneous and that celebrities and wealthy people got where they are today by some “overnight miracle” or “viral success,” when the reality is that consistency, time, and hard work are what got them there. This is true for anything, from building wealth to losing fat and building muscle. It just doesn’t happen overnight.

Even though my book is on a shelf in a major bookstore, I know I still have a long way to go on my journey to get where I want to go ( I always have goals and a plan!) I’m okay with this and have perfected the art of patience and resilience from having been a military spouse for almost 30 years. After living that life for so long, now, when I see someone getting stressed out over stuff that doesn’t even matter or they can’t control, OR they have zero patience and complain that something isn’t happening right that second, I can’t help but feel like:

LMAO! Seriously… Anyone who has been in my shoes knows what this is like. It isn’t easy, and most people can’t hack it. I can see now that living this way for decades has given me the drive, persistence, and ambition to get where I need to be, and I am genuinely grateful for that.

We have a saying: “Hurry up and wait.”

Those who can see the gift in this “waiting” period can utilize it to manifest incredible things. Time, hard work, and patience equal success. Sprinkle in some critical thinking skills, scientific observation, and a little magic, and you have a recipe for abundant prosperity and opportunity to flow to you, and in just the right way, when the time is right.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me on this journey, and I hope you will continue to adventure with me as I take this phase of my life to the next level! I will NEVER forget your kindness! This is only the start!
